1- Retail Sales Associate – Full-Time, Hingham, Newton & Wellesley
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and contribute to sales volume growth; resolve customer questions and concerns in The Winston Way
- Assist clients with floral and accessory product selection and design floral and plant product based on skill and experience level
- Take an active role in maintaining and developing existing and new client relationships, including following up as applicable to ensure complete satisfaction
- Daily set up and break down of store including physical transportation of sidewalk and floral displays
- Responsible for accurate product pricing and loss prevention
- Contribute to the consistent maintenance and refreshment of product merchandising
- Experience in high-end service, design and/or retail industries required
- Professional or personal experience in floriculture, horticulture, and/or design is preferred
- Proven ability to efficiently and professionally meet client needs

2- Nursery Retail Sales Associate – Full-Time Seasonal (Spring – Fall), Newton
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and contributing to sales volume growth, and resolving customer questions and concerns in The Winston Way
- Assist clients with plant and accessory product selection, drawing upon Zone 5 horticultural knowledge to recommend the most appropriate product based on space, conditions and desired aesthetic impact
- Take an active role in maintaining and developing existing and new client relationships, including following up as applicable to ensure complete satisfaction
- Work cooperatively with other nursery staff to receive, price and merchandise plant shipments with current product
- Contribute to the consistent maintenance and refreshment of product merchandising, as well as loss prevention
- Previous experience in a high-end nursery setting, with a strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, tropicals, basic garden design and horticulture is preferred; experience in high-end service, design and/or retail industries is required
- Proven ability to efficiently and professionally meet client needs

3- Floral Design and Sales Consultant – Full-Time; Winston Flowers and Garden, Newton
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with floral and accessory product selection and consistently create floral designs incorporating effective and innovative use of colors, floral materials, vessels and accent materials, while meeting established criteria for workmanship and cost of goods
- Perform on-site visits and client consultations to conceptualize custom floral design ideas for commercial and VIP residential properties
- Draft client proposals, and be responsible for accurate and profitable pricing for the installation or event
- Responsible for generating product orders, as well as labor planning and budgeting, and submitting to General Manager for approval and revisions
- Oversee and participate in design execution to ensure 100% client satisfaction and adherence to Winston Flowers service and design standards
- Attend installations to ensure successful completion of design vision
- Responsible for developing clientele portfolios; maintaining and developing existing and new client relationships
- Daily set up and break down of store including physical transportation of floral displays; contribute to the consistent maintenance and refreshment of product merchandising
- Act as a close partner to shop management.
- Knowledgeable in the floral industry; previous experience in high-end custom floral sales and design is required
- Must have valid driver’s license with relatively clean driving record

4- Sales - Design Studio - Full-Time, Boston
This dynamic, creative inside sales position is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients on a variety of levels. As a critical member of our sales team, you will assist clients with gift product selection, questions and specific product requests. We look for candidates with a high level of energy, who are self-motivated and who will thrive in a fast-paced career. Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management process to create custom gift product presentations for clients during telephone sales calls; using a consultative approach to build rapport and present key selling points while focusing on the customer’s needs
- Effectively upholds the service standards of Winston Flowers by providing excellent service, assisting customers with product selection and troubleshooting client issues, while managing internal processes to ensure timely deliveries
- Work closely with our Account Executive sales team to provide a wide range of floral services for our wide range of clientele
- Responsible for follow-up inquiries to select clients to ensure 100% satisfaction.
- Identify future sales opportunities from day to day calls and maximize leads.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced sales environment is preferred
- Exemplary verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to efficiently and professionally meet client needs, while balancing the needs of the company
- Excellent grammar and spelling skills, combined with strong attention to detail
